Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for Commercial Landscape Team Leaders and Trade-persons located in the Greater Brisbane Area. Responsibilities include overseeing and executing daily landscape project activities such as planting, paving, turf laying, and irrigation. Team Leaders will manage crew members, ensure safety protocols are followed, and communicate progress to supervisors. Trade-persons will contribute to project tasks and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscaping tasks, such as plant installation, paving, turf laying, and irrigation system setup
- Strong ability to lead and manage teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Technical proficiency in operating and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Relevant certifications in landscaping, horticulture, or construction will be highly regarded
- Basic understanding of project timelines and the ability to meet deadlines
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation, as this is an on-site role
