Kidz Corner Family Day Care is currently seeking qualified and passionate Family Day Care Educators to join our team.
This opportunity is suitable for educators who enjoy working with children and would like the flexibility of providing education and care in an approved home-based environment.
As a Family Day Care Educator with Kidz Corner Family Day Care, you will provide high-quality education and care to a small group of children while receiving ongoing support and guidance from our coordination team.
About the Role
As a Family Day Care Educator, you will:
- Provide education and care for children in an approved home-based environment
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment
- Develop positive relationships with children and families
- Maintain required records and documentation
- Follow Kidz Corner Family Day Care policies and procedures
- Meet all applicable National Law and National Regulations requirements
- Participate in regular support visits and communication with our coordination team
Flexible Working Arrangements
Family Day Care offers greater flexibility than many traditional centre-based educator roles.
Educators can nominate their preferred days and hours of availability, subject to service requirements, family demand and regulatory requirements.
This may be an attractive opportunity for educators looking for a home-based role with greater flexibility around their availability.
Support Provided
Kidz Corner Family Day Care provides ongoing support to our educators, including:
- Assistance with the registration and onboarding process
- Guidance in preparing your home environment
- Policies and procedures
- Regulatory and compliance guidance
- Regular educator support visits
- Professional guidance and mentoring
- Ongoing assistance from our coordination team
About You
We would love to hear from applicants who:
- Hold or are working towards an approved Certificate III or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Hold or are able to obtain the required Working with Children Check/Blue Card
- Hold or are willing to obtain required First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Have a suitable home environment that may be assessed for Family Day Care
- Are passionate about providing high-quality education and care for children
- Are reliable, professional and committed to meeting regulatory requirements
Previous Family Day Care experience is not essential. Applicants with centre-based early childhood experience who are interested in transitioning to Family Day Care are encouraged to apply.
