Diploma Qualified Educator – Full Time
Strathfield Early Learning is seeking a passionate and experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our supportive team on a full-time basis.
Located in Strathfield South, our service provides high-quality early childhood education and care in a warm, inclusive, and child-centred environment.
About the Role
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work collaboratively with the Room Leader, Educational Leader, and wider team to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experiences for children.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the planning and implementation of educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Building respectful and positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintaining active supervision and supporting children’s health, safety, and wellbeing.
- Contributing to observations, learning documentation, and children’s portfolios.
- Supporting daily routines, transitions, mealtimes, and care practices.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment.
- Following the National Quality Framework, service policies, and child protection requirements.
- Working as part of a positive and professional team.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
- Current Working With Children Check (NSW).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
- Current Child Protection training.
- Previous experience working in an early childhood education and care service.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Current Child Safety / Child Protection training.
