We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team based in Rocklea. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of industrial plant and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

What you’ll be doing:

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment.

Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently using technical drawings and manuals.

Ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime across the site.

Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to support production requirements.

Adhere to all safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) requirements.

Shutdown work will be required at times
What you’ll bring:
-
Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or Fitting and Machining.

Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience as a Maintenance Fitter in an industrial environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Experience with MIG welding and fabrication repairs.

Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
-
Hydraulics experience will be highly regarded.

Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Sound understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
Reliable, proactive and safety-focused approach to work.
