As a Senior BIM Technician in our Brisbane team, you'll play a leading role in delivering digital engineering solutions across major infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, rail, civil development, electrical and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS).
Working within our Queensland CAD & Digital Team, you'll drive BIM excellence, lead digital coordination, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. The Opportunity
- Lead the digital delivery and BIM management of major infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality BIM and CAD deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, implement and maintain BIM Execution Plans, standards, templates and data management processes while ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 principles.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction teams, managing federated models, clash detection, virtual design reviews and issue resolution using industry-leading BIM platforms.
- Mentor and support team members by sharing BIM knowledge, developing digital capabilities, and promoting best practice across projects and regional teams.
- Champion digital innovation by introducing new technologies, contributing to digital transformation initiatives, capturing lessons learned, and supporting continuous improvement across the business.

Is this role right for you?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, BIM, Drafting or a related discipline, with extensive experience delivering BIM on major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of BIM methodologies, ISO 19650 standards and digital delivery processes, with at least 10 years' experience in infrastructure engineering, modelling, drafting or design within Australia.
- Advanced proficiency in BIM and engineering software including Navisworks, Revizto, Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, AutoCAD, 12d, Revit, ProjectWise and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and confidently engage with clients and external partners.
- A proactive, detail-oriented and collaborative approach, with a passion for mentoring others, embracing emerging technologies, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced project environment.
