This position is a full-time role offering a minimum of 38 hours per week with reasonable additional hours as required.
The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking quality meals while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with recipes and business standards
- Ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation
- Assisting with menu preparation and food planning
- Monitoring cooking processes and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance
- Assisting with stock rotation and stock control
- Working effectively within a busy kitchen team environment
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification; and/or
- At least one full year or equivalent of relevant work experience as a Cook
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures

Pay: $80,000.00 – $81,000.00 per year
