About the role
Supporting the Manager/Senior Manager, the Support Officer -Community Mobilisation will provide vital customer service, administrative, training and systems support that underpins the volunteer and member experience at Red Cross.
This role provides support including inbox management, volunteer and member enquiries as well as branch support.
What you will bring
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver outputs within specified time frames
- Ability to work under general supervision, autonomously and as part of a team within a matrix structure
- Ability to assess, evaluate and solve problems by reference to procedures, methods and instructions
- Ability to exercise judgement and initiative within defined policies and practices
- Working knowledge and relevant experience in working with and supporting volunteers and/or members
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and administration skills
