Here’s a snapshot of your day:
Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems. Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems. Reviews work orders, estimates time and materials needed to repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies. Maintains lighting systems throughout client facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps. Responds quickly to emergency situations
Skills and experience:
Relevant and valid OH&S cards preferred, such as License for operating a Forklift, Elevating Work Platform, and Work Safely At Heights. Suitable Trade qualifications or experience in plumbing is highly desirable, and hands-on with building repair/carpentry work. Basic knowledge and safety awareness around electrical work. Experience with general repairs and maintenance in a structured commercial environment. Valid Driver’s License.
