The Position
Your duties and responsibilities as a Domestic Assistant will vary. We tailor our home care services to meet the specific needs and individual preferences of each client, so your tasks may include:
- dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- making beds and changing bed linen
- hanging, folding, and ironing laundry
- shopping or assistance with errands.
You will be required to travel between client homes and service multiple clients during a typical working day (9.00am-5.00pm on weekdays). Actual work hours are flexible, but your consistent and regular commitment is important to our clients and us.
Essential Requirements
- The right to work in Australia
- A current National Police Certificate
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
- A registered, roadworthy vehicle with fully comprehensive car insurance
- Up to date COVID and flu vaccinations
- A smartphone
Desirable
- Previous experience as a domestic assistant/cleaner
- A current Level 2 First Aid (including CPR) Certificate
- Fluency in a second language other than English
