Brightside Cleaners is a growing local cleaning company providing high-quality commercial cleaning services throughout the Northern Rivers. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused Commercial Cleaner to join our team and maintain a modern childcare centre in Goonellabah.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and is looking for consistent weekday evening hours.
About the Role
- Permanent casual position with ongoing hours
- Monday to Friday shifts
- Approximately 3–4 hours per evening
- Start time: Around 5:00 pm
- Location: Goonellabah, NSW
- Immediate start available
You will be responsible for ensuring the childcare centre is cleaned and presented to a high standard each day.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
- Cleaning kitchens and staff areas
- Sanitising high-touch surfaces, including door handles and light switches
- Weekly internal window cleaning
- Maintaining a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation
The childcare centre staff prepare the rooms each afternoon, so there is no furniture moving, room setup, or rubbish removal required.
We are looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning results
- Is reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is physically fit and comfortable performing cleaning duties
- Has a current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check
- Has commercial cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
