Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist in everyday operations of the warehouse and keeping warehouse well maintained and tidy
- Unloading and loading of delivery vehicles by hand or forklift
- Unpacking stock and storing stock in warehouse
- Stock control – inwards/outwards, regular stocktakes
- Quoting, Processing Customer Orders, raising Purchase orders, Receipting of goods in, processing and despatching orders to customers
- Picking and checking orders
- Organise order pickup/delivery with freight providers
- Assisting customers face to face in store with product enquiries and order collection.
- Communicate with customers in person, phone or email to provide them with the products and services they require.
- May be involved in the embroidery department, picking clothing orders, operating the machines and packing orders.
Qualifications & experience
- Must hold a forklift license
- Previous Warehouse, Inventory and customer service experience preferred but not essential
- Must be a reliable person that is available to work, Monday to Friday, within the store hours 8am - 4pm
- Able to do 38 hours each week
- Must have reliable transport to and from work.
- Attention to detail in all areas of the role is essential.
- Applicant requires good computer skills and be a quick learner
- Ability to enjoy and handle a fast-paced environment
- Lifting is required so need to be fit and able for the role.
- Great customer service skills and enjoy communicating with customers.
- Able to work unsupervised.
- Helpful, keen, team player
- Personal presentation & hygiene is required at a high standard as you will be assisting customers
- Cheerful and happy nature is necessary as the job role involves counter service and sales
- Training provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
