Company Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Transactional Accounting Manager to lead and oversee the organisation’s transactional finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Cash Flow Management. Reporting to the Head of Fianance, his role is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining strong financial controls, optimising working capital, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

Accounts Payable Management
-
Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments

Organise/support preparation of overseas payments
-
Maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve payment-related issues efficiently
-
Ensure compliance with internal approval processes, policies, and payment controls
-
Monitor creditor balances and optimise payment cycles and working capital outcomes
Accounts Receivable Management
-
Manage the Accounts Receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and customer account management
-
Monitor debtor ageing and drive collection activities to minimise overdue accounts and bad debts
-
Develop and implement effective credit control procedures and policies
-
Collaborate with operational teams to resolve customer billing and payment disputes
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
-
Oversee daily cash flow management and short-term liquidity planning
-
Monitor cash positions and ensure sufficient funding for operational requirements
-
Support treasury activities including bank reconciliations and banking relationships
-
Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts and working capital reporting for senior management
-
Responsible for Hedge and FEC contract administration
-
Ensure compliance with treasury policies where applicable
Financial Controls & Compliance
-
Preparing bank reconciliations
-
Assisting with GL reconciliations
-
Ensure transactional finance processes operate within established internal control frameworks
-
Maintain accuracy and integrity of transactional accounting records and reconciliations
-
Support audit requirements through the preparation of documentation and reconciliations
-
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax obligations, and company policies
Process Improvement & Systems
-
Identify opportunities to improve transactional finance processes, systems, and reporting efficiencies
-
Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement across AP, AR, and treasury functions
-
Support ERP and finance system enhancements and implementations where required
Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop team members
-
Determine long term resourcing needs of the team and provide recommendation on optimal team structure
-
Manage team performance, workload allocation, and professional development
-
Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance team culture

Manage relationships with senior stakeholders
