About the Role
As an inaugural team member as a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Ward, you will provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. We are looking for Registered Nurses that have worked within a surgical ward across a diverse range of specialties. You must be available and able to work across a rotating roster, including Monday to Sunday, morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and evidence-based best practice.

Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Advocate for patients and promote positive patient outcomes.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-focused workplace culture.
Requirements of the Role

At least 12 months of surgical ward experience.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).

High level communication skills to build positive relationships and deliver quality care.
