What you'll do
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Director, Allied Health Director and Director of Nursing through effective calendar and correspondence management, ensuring priorities are managed and urgent matters are addressed promptly. You will coordinate executive communications, maintain tracking systems to ensure responses are delivered within required timeframes, and utilise Content Manager (eDRMS) to support accurate records management. Using sound judgement, discretion and initiative, you will work autonomously to resolve issues, manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. You will liaise professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders across Queensland Health and government agencies, provide secretariat support to key committees, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and administrative services through strong collaboration, adaptability and attention to detail.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Ability to provide high level professional, confidential secretarial and administrative support to senior executives.
Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and use initiative to manage and prioritise workloads to meet competing deadlines.
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including writing skills.
Ability to build effective team relationships with a willingness to assist others.
