The Hutchins School is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Advancement Coordinator to join our Advancement and Alumni Engagement team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is equally comfortable connecting with people as they are working with data, systems and digital tools to help strengthen lifelong relationships with our alumni, donors, parents and wider School community.
This is a permanent, part-time position (0.8 FTE).
About the role
Working closely with the Director of Advancement and Alumni Engagement and the Advancement Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering alumni engagement initiatives, coordinating events, supporting donor stewardship and maintaining the data and insights that underpin the School’s advancement strategy.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni and members of the School community
- Coordinate alumni events, reunions, networking opportunities and donor engagement activities
- Maintain and analyse CRM data to identify engagement opportunities and produce meaningful insights
- Support stewardship initiatives that recognise and thank donors
- Assist with communications, reports, presentations and engagement campaigns
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through digital technologies, including the thoughtful use of AI tools
About you
You are naturally curious, enjoy learning new technologies and are motivated by making a positive impact through strong relationships and well-informed decision-making.
You’ll bring:
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems and managing data with accuracy and integrity
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical thinking and the ability to translate data into practical insights
- Confidence using digital tools, with an interest in AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and engagement
- Experience in advancement, fundraising, alumni relations, community engagement, education or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded, but we welcome applications from candidates whose skills and experience are transferable
