Hunter & Barrel Adelaide is looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef to join our leadership team.
As Assistant Kitchen Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring quality, consistency and efficiency across every service. From coordinating prep and maintaining food safety standards to coaching the team and driving performance, you'll play a key role in the continued success of the restaurant.

What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years' kitchen management experience in a similar high-volume environment
- A genuine passion for food, people and hospitality
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
- Previous experience cooking over flame or char grill
- Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Excellent presentation, organisation and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of WHS and food safety requirements
- Flexible availability across a 7-day rotating roster
