Your new role:
As an Administration Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of administrative and patient support services across multiple hospital departments. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will provide high-quality customer service and administrative support while helping to facilitate efficient patient care.
Provide administrative, reception, switchboard, patient administration and clerical support across a variety of hospital service areas.
Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, transfers and discharges while maintaining accurate records and data within hospital information systems.
About you:
You are a proactive and customer-focused administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting both patients and healthcare teams. You are adaptable, organised and committed to delivering high-quality service.
Demonstrated experience in administrative, reception or customer service roles, ideally within a healthcare or complex service environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks, work autonomously and meet deadlines in a changing operational environment.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
