West Coast Auto Airconditioning is Mandurah's specialist in automotive airconditioning, heating and auto electrical, backed by our No Fix No Fee guarantee. We're not a big dealership and we're not trying to be. We're an established small team, a well run shop with plans to grow, and we're looking for the right person to run the operation and help us grow it.This is a genuine leadership role with real autonomy. You'll run the business day to day so the owner can focus on growth. What you'll own
Running the day to day operation across both the workshop floor and the admin team. Quoting work and, just as importantly, turning quotes into approved jobs by handling customer objections with confidence. Owning the numbers that matter: job margin, labour recovery, quote to job conversion and comeback rates. Building and tightening the systems that keep quality high and jobs moving. Leading, coaching and lifting the standard of the whole team. Helping shape where the business goes next.
What you'll bring
A solid automotive trade background, ideally in auto electrical and or airconditioning, so you can quote credibly and earn the respect of the floor. Proven ability with customers, including quoting and converting work, so a strong quote doesn't die at the objection. Real operations or management experience, with the commercial literacy to read margin and manage to it, not just push jobs out the door. A track record of building systems and standards, not just following them. Genuine leadership of a team, and the maturity to run a floor without being on it.
Highly regarded
ARC refrigerant handling authorisation. Auto electrical or Mechanical qualifications.3-5yrs Experience owning a full service operation.A background in a larger workshop, dealership or multi-site business.
What's on offer
$105,000 - $125,000 depending on experience.
