We are looking for a Solar & Battery Sales Representative to join a family run business Twyford Solar & Electrical as we expand to new territory in Hervey Bay QLD.
About the Role
You’ll be the face of Twyford Solar Hervey Bay, helping customers design the right solar and battery solution for their home or business. This role suits someone who loves autonomy, understands the value of clean energy, and thrives in a performance‑based environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting in‑home, virtual or phone solar & battery consultations
- Assessing customer energy usage and designing tailored system proposals
- Explaining system performance, ROI, rebates and finance options
- Preparing and presenting quotes using our internal tools
- Managing your sales pipeline from lead to close
- Working closely with our operations team to ensure smooth installations
- Maintaining strong product knowledge across leading brands and technologies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in solar sales, energy, or technical consultative sales (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Self‑motivated with a drive to exceed targets
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Current driver’s licence
- Tradespeople looking to get off the tools and transition into sales are encouraged to apply
