About the role
Reporting to the Principal Advisor, the Senior Advisor supports the Deputy Secretary by providing high-level advice, analysis, briefings and project support across the People, Legal and Governance Group. The role leads complex, confidential and cross-functional projects, ensuring key priorities, issues and deliverables are progressed and completed in a fast-paced environment.
The position oversees corporate functions including budgeting, financial management, risk, business planning, procurement, records management and compliance. It builds strong stakeholder relationships, improves business systems and processes, prepares high-quality briefings and correspondence, and ensures governance, legislative and operational requirements are met while driving continuous improvement and business outcomes.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business administration or a related field (desirable).

Demonstrated experience in a business or corporate services role supporting senior executives in a complex environment.

Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management and business planning processes.
