What you’ll do:
Join the Santos Brisbane team as a Senior Integrity Engineer and take ownership of asset integrity across our offshore portfolio. You’ll be a trusted technical leader, ensuring the safe, reliable and compliant operation of critical infrastructure throughout its lifecycle.
As a senior integrity engineer, you’ll primarily support our offshore assets within the Midstream and Energy Solutions portfolio, working across both operations and projects. Reporting to the Team Leader Integrity – Gas and Liquids, you’ll lead failure analysis, drive long-term integrity planning and provide expert engineering support to ensure our assets remain safe, reliable and fit for service.
Key accountabilities include:

Conduct failure analysis to root cause and drive subsequent defect elimination

Develop and maintain Integrity Management Plans, Integrity Operating Windows, and inspection scopes for pressure equipment

Lead RBI studies and long-term planning to ensure asset integrity across all lifecycle stages

Provide engineering support to projects during construction, commissioning, and change management

Lead functional engineering assurance activities including compliance audits
Mentor and coach discipline-specific engineers in both operational and corporate environments

What you’ll bring:
-
Accredited degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent)

5–10 years of experience in Integrity support to Operations in the Oil and Gas industry

Knowledge of relevant standards including AS1200, AS1210, AS3788, API 653, API 579, API 580, and API 581
-
Strong technical competencies in RBI, Fitness for Service Assessment, inspection techniques, material selection, and corrosion management
Ideally, offshore integrity management experience and TBOSIET certification
