About the opportunity
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Scheduler to join our team working on one of Australia’s largest infrastructure programs.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in project planning and scheduling. If you have some experience in a project or construction environment and are keen to develop your planning skills particularly in Primavera P6 we'd love to hear from you. You'll be supported by an experienced team while gaining hands-on experience on major infrastructure projects.
In this role, you'll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors to help develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress and support the successful delivery of projects.
Key responsibilities include;
Assisting with the development and maintenance of construction schedules using Primavera P6.
Supporting project reporting, schedule updates and planning activities.
Monitoring project progress and helping identify potential scheduling risks or delays.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Supervisors to ensure schedules reflect project progress and priorities.
Assisting with the collection and analysis of project information to support effective planning.
What You'll Bring to the Team
We're looking for someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn and build a career in project planning. You'll ideally have:
Around 1–2 years' experience in a project, construction, engineering or planning environment, or relevant tertiary qualifications with some practical exposure.
Some exposure to Primavera P6 or a strong interest in learning and developing your scheduling skills.
Strong organisational and analytical skills with good attention to detail.
The ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with different teams.
A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to learn from experienced planners.
Experience in water or utilities projects is advantageous but not essential.
