About the role
This is early learning with purpose and plenty of personality! Create engaging learning experiences that meet children where they’re at, helping them build confidence, curiosity and the skills they need to thrive. You’ll work with children from a diverse local community, including children with more complex behavioural and emotional needs.
About you
You’ll be someone who doesn’t shy away from a challenge. With bring patience, consistency and creativity to support children to regulate, connect and participate. You’ll build genuine relationships with children and families, work closely with your team and create a learning environment where every child feels safe, valued and capable. Your key experience will include:
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering engaging early childhood programs.
- Experience supporting children with complex needs or challenging behaviours.
- Strong knowledge of child development and a commitment to inclusive, child-centred practice.
- Confidence working collaboratively with families and a multidisciplinary team.
- Current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- First Aid and CPR
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months.
