About the Role
As Baby Room Leader, you'll take the lead in creating a warm, responsive, and stimulating environment for infants in your care. You'll guide a small team of educators, model best practice in nurturing routines, and build genuine, trusting relationships with babies and their families during some of the most precious early months of their lives.
You'll be supported by a leadership team that values consistency, connection, and quality care above all else.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the baby room
- Implement curriculum in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Guide and mentor educators within the room
- Support babies' individual routines, feeding, and sleep needs
- Build genuine, trusting relationships with families
- Maintain accurate observations, documentation, and compliance
- Create a calm, safe, and stimulating environment for infants
About You
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (mandatory)
- Experience working with babies/infants in a centre-based setting
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Current WWCC and First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
- Current Child Protection training, or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of infant development and attachment
- Natural leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset
