The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and relational Primary Teacher to join our Primary School team on a fixed-term contract for 15 months providing a parental leave replacement.
The initial appointment is anticipated to be for 15 months however, the duration of the contract may be extended depending on the duration of the parental leave and the operational requirements of the College. The anticipated commencement and completion dates are therefore subject to change.
This is an opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative teaching team and contribute to the learning, wellbeing and development of our Primary students during the contract period.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful and differentiated learning experiences for Primary students.

Create a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, wellbeing and high expectations.

Develop strong and respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues.

Monitor and assess student learning and use assessment data to inform teaching practice.

About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

A genuine and active commitment to the Christian faith and the mission and values of Plenty Valley Christian College.

Appropriate teaching qualifications and current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration, or eligibility for registration.

Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective Primary teaching.
