We have an exciting opportunity available for an Administration Assistant to join the Centre Management team at Stockland Merrylands Shopping Centre on a 12‑month fixed term contract.
This role is based on site five days a week and plays a key role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day administration and financial operations of the centre. It is well suited to someone with an accounting or finance‑aligned background who enjoys working closely with tenants, managing receivables and providing high‑quality administrative support in a fast‑paced retail environment.
We’re Looking For…
A reliable and organised Administration Assistant who will play an integral role supporting the centre team and retailers by delivering high‑level administrative and financial support.
What You’ll Do
Working closely with the Administration Manager, you will support a broad range of administration and accounts‑related activities across the centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting monthly billing processes including utilities, invoicing and invoice reviews
- Preparing accounts receivable invoices, daily receipting and payment allocation
• Assisting with debt management, including following up outstanding accounts with tenants• Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the Centre Management team
- Acting as a key point of contact for tenants and contractors, with a strong focus on service
- Supporting Public Liability Insurance compliance and incident management processes
- Maintaining accurate records and workflow administration using SAP and other systems
This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same.
About You
You bring strong administration experience, sound financial capability and confidence communicating with tenants and stakeholders. You are comfortable spending time on the phone, particularly when following up outstanding accounts, and you take pride in being organised, accurate and responsive.
Experience & Skills That Count
- Previous administration experience with a strong customer service focus
- Accounting or finance background, particularly exposure to accounts receivable
• Experience in property, shopping centres or a similar environment is advantageous• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills with a professional and confident phone manner
- Competent skills across Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential
