- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating freight haulage agreements, owner-driver and subcontractor engagements, supplier contracts and service variations, including rate schedules, fuel levy adjustments and demurrage terms.
- Responding to enquiries and resolving disputes raised by customers, subcontracted carriers, suppliers and other affected parties in relation to contracted transport services, service levels and delivery performance.
- Administering contract documentation and records, including executed agreements, variation approvals, purchase orders, insurance certificates, accreditations and compliance registers.
- Liaising with Operations and Fleet Managers, transport schedulers, workshop personnel, customers and external stakeholders to ensure contractual delivery obligations and operational targets are achieved.
- Advising directors and senior management on contractual risk, commercial exposure and matters requiring their determination, and implementing decisions made.
- Monitoring the performance of subcontracted carriers and external service providers against agreed contract terms, and reporting on variations to work and purchase orders.
- Preparing and reviewing tender submissions, rate proposals and internal reports concerning the business's contracting and freight operations.
- Collecting and analysing data on freight movements, contract profitability, cost recovery and delivery KPIs, and reporting on contract outcomes to management.
Qualifications:
Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree
Experience:
At lease 1 year as a Contract Administrator in similar business
