This is a six day per week position predominantly consisting of dinner service only closed on Sundays.
Some weeks vary due to functions and events.
Our kitchen is modern and well maintained.
Accommodation is available in a private studio unit at a nominal charge.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in your designated section.
- Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control.
- Support and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to progress.
- Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
- Relevant food safety certification (preferred or required, depending on local regulations).
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
