THE ROLE
The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Adviser plays a vital role in providing strategic engagement advice and support to the work of Homes Victoria. The purpose of the role is to provide strategic stakeholder and community engagement and issues management to build social licence for Homes Victoria.
The position reports to the Head of Community and Stakeholder Engagement and works collaboratively to support all branches across the organisation. You will support the Head of Community and Stakeholder Engagement to ensure the large and complex delivery program achieves its objectives through your work of listening to, engaging with, informing, communicating with, and building respectful and inclusive relationships with our communities and stakeholders.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Ensure the application of the most appropriate engagement methods for each individual project and/or stakeholder, identifying innovative practices to maximise the effectiveness and productivity of the team.
- Build and maintain the reputation of Homes Victoria through strong stakeholder engagement and utilising a risk/issues lens, creating an understanding for how Homes Victoria builds its social licence.
- Initiate and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and seek opportunities to engage stakeholders in the developing and implementing new and/or contemporary methodologies to improve engagement services.
