The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable and customer focused Bartender to join our opening team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest while ensuring responsible service of alcohol at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to a high standard
- Mixing cocktails and maintaining consistency in drink quality and presentation
- Providing friendly, attentive and professional service to all guests
- Ensuring compliance with RSA and liquor licensing requirements
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the bar area
- Restocking bar supplies and monitoring inventory throughout service
- Processing customer orders and payments accurately
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front of house teams to ensure smooth service
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
About You
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience is preferred
- Must hold a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate
- Cocktail making experience is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Speaking Arabic is an advantage, but not essential
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine passion for hospitality
