About the role
As a Personal Care Support Worker with BaptistCare, you’ll support older people in their own homes across Mansfield and the surrounding areas.
Every day is different. You might help with household tasks, showering and dressing, meal preparation, continence support, medication assistance or transport to appointments and local activities.
Just as importantly, you’ll provide companionship, conversation, and a friendly face.
In a rural community, those connections matter. You’ll get to know your clients, understand what is important to them and support them to continue living safely and independently in the place they call home.

What you’ll bring
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who genuinely cares about people.
You’ll bring:
Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients
Completed Certificate III in aged care or Individual support or above.
Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate
You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email
A warm, respectful, and caring approach
Patience, resilience, and the ability to work independently
Good communication skills and a willingness to build genuine relationships with client
