About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding position that will allow you to utilise your full scope of nursing skills within a busy and progressive General Practice environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting health assessments and chronic disease management activities
- Assisting with GP Management Plans and Care Plan Reviews
- Performing wound care and clinical procedures
- Administering immunisations and vaccinations
- Health education and patient support
- Managing recalls and preventative health programs
- ECGs, spirometry and other clinical assessments
- Infection prevention and control activities
- Supporting accreditation and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Assisting doctors with procedures and treatment room activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous General Practice nursing experience (highly desirable)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- A proactive and patient-centred approach to care
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong computer skills and experience with clinical software systems
- Commitment to continuous professional development

- Experience using Best Practice software
- Immunisation certification
- Chronic Disease Management experience
- Health Assessment experience
- Care Plan and Review experience
- Women's health experience
- Treatment room experience
- Knowledge of Medicare item numbers and primary healthcare funding models
- Current CPR certification
