The Landscape Architect in our Gold Coast team will be integral to delivering a varied portfolio of exciting, city-shaping projects across infrastructure and urban environments. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines while influencing impactful, sustainable design outcomes.
The Opportunity
- Deliver high-quality landscape architecture designs using both 2D and 3D design tools
- Work collaboratively within project teams to meet deadlines and maintain design excellence
- Contribute to the delivery of major city-shaping projects across infrastructure, urban master planning, public realm and water-led design
- Support business development by contributing to proposals and work-winning activities
- Build strong internal and external networks while contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture

Is this role right for you?
- 2–5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, ideally within a consulting environment
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (or similar), with progress toward or membership of a professional body
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, with working knowledge of 3D tools such as Rhino or Revit
- Strong communication, presentation, and report-writing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently, manage workload pressures, and contribute positively to team success

Based in the beautiful Gold Coast, the Gold Coast team supports projects throughout Southeast Queensland and northern NSW while drawing on expertise from Arup's wider national and global network. The office underwent a fit-out in 2022 to create bright open-plan agile work areas, collaboration zones and modern breakout and social spaces reflecting our focus on collaboration, flexibility, and sustainability. Located in Bundall, the design elements are inspired by the Gold Coast's coastal and hinterland landscapes, and the office is well located to cafes, restaurants, transport hubs and stunning views of the Nerang River.
