About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process & Factory Optimization Engineer to support capacity improvement, operational optimization, manufacturing transformation, and plant modernization initiatives.
The successful candidate will work across engineering, production, maintenance, automation, quality, and project teams to identify and deliver improvements in capacity, throughput, efficiency, reliability, and manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for capacity and performance improvement.
- Analyze production constraints, bottlenecks, downtime, and operational inefficiencies.
- Develop engineering solutions to increase throughput, reliability, and production capacity.
- Support factory optimization and continuous-improvement programs.
- Work with automation and engineering teams to implement process improvements.
- Support production-line modifications, equipment upgrades, and new technology integration.
- Analyze plant performance data and identify opportunities to improve OEE.
- Support commissioning, ramp-up, validation, and stabilization of upgraded production systems.
- Coordinate with production, process, automation, electrical, mechanical, quality, maintenance, OEM, and vendor teams.
- Support manufacturing transformation and legacy-system separation initiatives.
- Develop technical documentation, improvement plans, performance reports, and project recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12–15 years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
- Strong experience in production optimization and capacity improvement.
- Experience identifying and resolving manufacturing bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of OEE, process improvement, equipment reliability, and production efficiency.
- Experience delivering brownfield factory improvement projects.
- Good understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing technology.
- Experience within Food & Beverage, Dairy, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Process Manufacturing, or similar environments is strongly preferred.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or related experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, project-management, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
