THE OPPORTUNITY
We're seeking a talented and experienced Wok Fry Chef(1) and Kitchen hand (1) to join our growing kitchen team. This is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to showcase your wok skills, work with fresh ingredients, and be part of a supportive team that values craftsmanship and dedication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute high-volume wok frying with precision and consistency
- Prepare stir-fry dishes to order during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of wok station
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with basic prep work and mise en place
- Contribute to menu development and kitchen improvements
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
✓ Proven wok frying experience – you must be competent and confident working with a wok
✓ Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
✓ Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
✓ Physical stamina to work long shifts in a hot kitchen environment
✓ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
✓ Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
DESIRABLE (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Experience with Thai cuisine or Asian cooking styles
- Experience working in high-volume restaurants
