About the Role:
Little Lion Cafe is seeking a talented and passionate Cookto join our dynamic team across multiple Perth locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of all dishes within our kitchen and ensuring all dishes meet company and food safety standards before serving.
Responsibilities
· Preparing, cooking, and seasoning a variety of dishes in accordance with the menu and established recipes
· Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, fryers, and other commercial cooking equipment
· Inspecting raw ingredients upon delivery and monitoring dishes during preparation and before service to ensure quality and consistency
· Ensuring correct portioning and presentation of all dishes
· Assisting in the preparation of menu items as directed by senior kitchen staff
· Preparing meals in accordance with special dietary requirements, including allergies and specific dietary needs, as instructed
· Managing kitchen stock by following First-In-First-Out (FIFO) stock rotation and ensuring proper storage of food items
· Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
· Minimising food wastage through efficient food preparation and storage practices
· Assisting in training and guiding junior kitchen staff where required
· Working collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service
Requirements
· Australian Certificate III or Certificate IV or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant full-time work experience. OR a minimum of 3 years full-time relevant work experience if no formal qualification

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
