With a strong pipeline of secured transmission projects across regional New South Wales and upcoming works across Australia, we are expanding our workforce and seeking experienced Electrical Lineworkers to join our team.
The Role
You will be working on major transmission projects, primarily across NSW, delivering works across assembly, tower erection and conductor stringing scopes.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly
- Pre-assembly of tower sections in line with IFC drawings and engineering specifications
- Sorting, checking and preparing steel components and materials
- Reporting shortages, damages and quality issues (OS&D)
Erection
- Transmission line steel erection and rigging in line with engineered methodologies
- Working with crane crews and following Heavy Lift/Cranage plans
- Operating plant including EWPs, telehandlers and hydraulic equipment
- Supporting substation steel erection works
Stringing (where applicable)
- Installation of conductors and associated hardware
- Installation and maintenance of poles, towers and crossarms
- Ensuring work complies with network standards and SWMS requirements
About You
- Proven experience in transmission line construction (assembly, erection and/or stringing)
- Experience working on regional or remote FIFO projects
- Strong understanding of site safety and construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation
