We are seeking an authentic, pragmatic, and visionary Safety, Health & Wellbeing Manager to lead safety strategy and operational oversight across Pinnacle Drinks and our broader Supply Chain network.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
This pivotal dual-remit leadership role provides strategic direction and hands-on governance across a diverse footprint, including wineries, wine production, bottling, and warehousing environments. You will also lead transport safety, Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) governance, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance across light-vehicle, heavy-vehicle, last-mile (B2C), to-store, and ultra-convenience delivery networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and continuously evolve the Pinnacle & Supply Chain Safety Strategy aligned with Endeavour Group frameworks.
- Implement and maintain CoR policies, Management Plans, and training covering fatigue, load management, driver standards, and vehicle roadworthiness.
- Direct line management of a team of 3 safety professionals. Coach, advise, and partner with the Pinnacle Leadership Team and site leaders to drive a high-performance safety culture.
- Oversee risk profiles, SOPs, work instructions, incident investigations (ICAM), self-insurance audits, and dangerous occurrence management across manufacturing and operational touchpoints.
- Chair quarterly SHEC meetings, analyze data insights to lead targeted SH&W campaigns, and drive reductions in recordable incidents and lost hours.
- Partner closely with internal teams (Primary Connect, Injury Management, Legal & Risk) and external partners (3PLs, regulatory bodies, and carriers).
What do we need from you
Now let’s talk about you:
Essential Criteria
- Diploma in Work Health & Safety (WHS) at a minimum.
- Proven safety leadership experience across manufacturing, supply chain, transport, or wine operations.
- In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, HVNL, and Chain of Responsibility framework execution.
- ICAM training with a track record of investigating complex incidents, root-cause analysis, and strategic preventive planning.
- A collaborative, curious, and resilient mindset; comfortable leading through ambiguity and driving accountability with humility and trust.
Desirable Criteria
- 5+ years of relevant experience leading business-wide safety programs and strategies.
- Mental Health First Aid certification and group training facilitation experience.
- Prior experience in beverage manufacturing, wineries, or large-scale retail supply chains.
