We are seeking an experienced Tendering Team Leader to provide leadership and continuity for our Australian Grid Technologies Sales team during a planned maternity leave cover assignment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
50% Tender Management
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end tendering process for transmission and grid technology projects.
- Develop and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Coordinate with engineering, legal, finance, procurement, and other stakeholders.
40% Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of tendering professionals.
- Manage team capacity, workload planning, and resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
10% Commercial & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the key interface between customers and Siemens Energy throughout the bid phase.
- Support contract review, commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and risk assessments.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience in technical sales, bid management, tendering, or proposal management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of commercial proposals, contract review processes, pricing structures, and customer requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
