An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and organised Administrative Assistant to join the St Vincent's BreastScreen & Rose Clinic team. Working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary service, you'll provide high-quality administrative, reception and data management support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. You'll work closely with the Administration Manager, Senior Data Coordinator, Nurses, Radiographers and fellow administration staff, playing an important role in delivering an exceptional experience for our clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a service dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer while working in a supportive and patient-focused environment.
Classification: HS1 – HS17 ($58,442.80 – $64,610.00 per annum, pro rata for part time).
Provide professional and compassionate reception services to clients attending St Vincent's BreastScreen and Rose Clinic.
Accurately enter, process and maintain client and breast imaging data.
Coordinate the management and transfer of breast imaging records, including prior image requests in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure prior images are received, processed and made available for reporting.
Provide administrative support to the multidisciplinary team, assisting with the efficient operation of the service.
Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organisational policies.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience in an administrative or reception role, ideally within healthcare (desirable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a caring, patient-centred approach.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience using Windows-based computer systems and electronic databases.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team environment.
Flexibility, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering high-quality customer service.
A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
