Peak Fitness 24/7 Gym & Recovery Centre – Taylors Lakes is one of Melbourne’s fastest-growing premium fitness and recovery facilities. We’re looking for an exceptional Assistant Club Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in the continued growth of both our gym and Pilates studio.
This is not an entry-level position. We’re seeking a motivated leader who is proactive, accountable, sales-driven and passionate about delivering an exceptional member experience.
Working alongside our Club Manager and Regional Manager, you’ll receive ongoing one-on-one coaching, mentoring and leadership development designed to continually strengthen your management, leadership, sales and operational skills. About the Role
As the Assistant Club Manager, you’ll assist with the day-to-day operations of both our gym and Pilates studio, ensuring the club operates efficiently while maintaining the exceptional standards our members have come to expect.
You’ll help lead the team, support member retention, drive membership sales, oversee operational excellence and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the gym and Pilates studio.
- Support the Club Manager in achieving sales, retention and operational targets.
- Lead, motivate and support staff to maintain a high-performing team culture.
- Conduct club tours and confidently convert enquiries into memberships.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong member relationships.
- Ensure the club is presented to the highest standard at all times.
- Assist with staff supervision, administration and daily operations.
- Help implement marketing initiatives and promotions to grow the business.
- Resolve member enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Lead by example and uphold Peak Fitness standards and culture.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience in fitness, sales, customer service or a leadership role.
- Is a confident, approachable and professional leader.
- Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

- Is passionate about sales, customer service and business growth.

Availability
Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work a rotating roster including:
- Early morning shifts
- Midday shifts
- Evening shifts
- Rotating weekends
Flexibility is an essential requirement of this position.
