Paediatric Medicine - Provisional Fellow - Liverpool Hospital, SWSLHD
Provisional Fellow positions in Community Child Health are available for the remainder 2026 Clinical Year. Positions are accredited for advanced training and would be suitable for a candidate interested in a career in general or subspecialty training.
The position provides Advanced Trainees an opportunity to further their training, developing skills important for a consultant role in the spheres of clinical care, education and training as well as research with support from the team consultants and other health care professionals. The Provisional Fellow role is a leadership role, both within the department for other junior medical staff and medical students as well as members of the multidisciplinary team, but also across the broader hospital community.

What you'll be doing
The fellow will play a key role within the Department of General Paediatrics at Liverpool Hospital. She/he will maintain close communication with consultants, in particular the Staff Specialists and the Paediatrician on-call on any given day, and junior medical staff working in the Department. In addition, the fellow will maintain close relationships with nursing and allied health care members, liaise with referring Paediatricians and General Practitioners, and specialists at tertiary Paediatric centres, and provide timely and effective communication to patients and their families.
