Position: Shift Fitter (morning shift & afternoon shift available)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Carryout day to day maintenance activities, ensuring that downtime is minimized.
- Ensuring break downs and emergencies are actioned immediately.
- Undertake Preventative Maintenance tasks & are carried out within the deadlines.
- Enter completed tasks into the Maintenance Management System MEX.
- Ensure scheduled work orders are completed on time and communicated effectively.
- Assist in set up of tooling as required to support the production teams.
- Undertake asset inspections and interactions daily with the production supervisors.
- Liaise with Supervisors to coordinate planned maintenance activities and ensure resources and equipment are available to complete maintenance tasks.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Complete lockout procedures as required.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Trade test or equivalent.
- Stainless Steel TIG Welding / Fabrication.
- Disconnect/Reconnect License (desirable)
- Forklift License (desirable)
Knowledge & Experience
- Sound knowledge of Maintenance and Production requirements preferable in food manufacturing facilities.
- Planned/preventative maintenance and fault finding (desirable)

- Sound oral, written communication skills
- Sound numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Sound understanding of plant and production hygiene requirements
