We are currently seeking an experienced and autonomous Practice Nurse to join our busy, friendly, and passionate team. This is a part-time/ casual position, offering 2 to 3 days of work per week. The hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, with no weekend or public holiday work required. We value work/life balance and are open to discussing flexible scheduling options for the right candidate. Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have permanent unrestricted rights to work in Australia
- Current Australian registration in nursing (AHPRA)
- A valid National Police Certificate
- A valid Working With Children (WWC) Check
- Proof of up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19 vaccinations
- Current drivers’ licence & own car
- Immunisation competency or willingness to obtain
- Experience in a general practice, specialist rooms or hospital environment
Desired Criteria:
- Experience with CDM, TCA's & Health assessment as well as good familiarity with MBS codes
- Immunisation certification preferred
- Cervical Screenings
- Wound Care experience preferred
- Experience with Best Practice, Primary Sense, HotDoc and Proda will be highly regarded
