Casual Merchandiser – Sheridan at Myer
Join Our National Merchandising Team
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Casual Merchandiser to join our established national team, representing Sheridan in Myer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in retail, visual merchandising or store operations who enjoys working independently and takes pride in maintaining high retail standards.
The role is approximately 8 hours per week, with a regular ongoing commitment required. We are looking for someone who is dependable and can commit to their allocated store and regular weekly visits.
About the Role
Working within Myer, you will be responsible for maintaining the Sheridan department to a high standard and ensuring the brand is presented beautifully and consistently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Replenishing, recovering and merchandising Sheridan stock
- Maintaining a clean, organised and visually appealing department
- Implementing planograms and visual merchandising standards
- Ensuring stock is presented correctly and to brand standards
- Identifying opportunities to improve presentation and stock availability
- Following store and company direction
- Completing visit reports and uploading photos using our mobile reporting system
About You
We are looking for someone who has previous retail or merchandising experience and understands what good retail presentation looks like.
You will be someone who:
- Has experience working in retail, merchandising, visual merchandising or a similar environment
- Is mature, reliable and committed to their regular shifts
- Takes pride in their work and has a strong eye for detail
- Is confident working independently and managing their own time
- Is professional, well presented and comfortable working within a major department store
- Can follow instructions and work to set standards
- Is confident using a smartphone and basic mobile apps for reporting
- Understands the importance of consistency, communication and completing work to a high standard
