Position Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling Dawntronic Australia Pty Ltd’s range of technology products, including mobile devices, computer systems, custom-built PCs, accessories, audio equipment, and networking products. The role supports both in-store and online sales and involves providing practical product advice and bundled solutions to individual and small business customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Dawntronic’s (including ACLINKER) product range, including mobile phones, computer hardware, custom-built PC systems, peripherals, audio equipment, and networking devices
- Assess customer operational and technical requirements and develop tailored ICT product recommendations and bundled technology solutions, including customised computer systems, networking configurations and integrated office technology packages.
- Provide practical product advice, including system compatibility, performance, and appropriate product combinations
- Manage the full sales process, including responding to enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, negotiating pricing within company guidelines, and providing after-sales support
- Develop and convert ICT sales opportunities across online (such as Amazon), referral and direct customer channels through provision of consultative advice regarding technology products and solutions.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through customer enquiries, referrals, and community engagement
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with individual and business customers to support repeat ICT solution sales and ongoing account development
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal purchasing staff to confirm product availability, pricing, and delivery timeframes
- Monitor customer demand, competitor products, and market trends, and provide feedback to support sales planning and product positioning
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, quotations, and conversion outcomes
- Identify prospective business customers and develop new ICT sales opportunities through referrals, enquiries and existing networks.
- Prepare and present quotations, product proposals and solution recommendations for customers requiring customised ICT products or integrated technology solutions.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Relevant experience in sales of technology products or in a customer-facing role involving technical products
- Proven ability to manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to closing and follow-up
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable product solutions
- Good knowledge of computers, mobile devices, accessories, and related technology products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail and online sales environment and meet sales targets
- Multilingual ability (e.g. Vietnamese) is an advantage given the customer base
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $78,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
