As a Project Support Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the procurement team to prepare, manage, and coordinate procurement and contract documentation for the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP). Working closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure procurement activities are delivered efficiently, compliantly and on time to support key infrastructure outcomes for Queensland communities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate procurement activities across a variety of contract types to support successful project delivery.
- Assist in the preparation and management of procurement and contract documentation.
- Support the timely engagement of contractors and suppliers in line with project requirements.
- Promote sound governance practices and compliance with legislative, policy and organisational requirements.
- Reinforce internal control processes and contribute to effective risk management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business planning and project delivery outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to share knowledge, build relationships and strengthen business processes and practices.
Mandatory requirements:
- A current Class 'C' Drivers Licence.
- Pre-employment checks, including a criminal history screening and declaration of serious discipline history are required to be completed.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia.
