HelkenHurson Pty Ltd seeks an experienced full-time Carpenter/Formworker to join our team. The successful applicant will be reliable, hardworking, safety-driven and a good fit for the team.
Suitable applicants should have experience across civil construction and formwork projects, including preparing, erecting and dismantling formwork and supporting concrete construction works from preparation through to completion.
Applicants should be capable of working across a range of civil construction projects and supporting site teams in line with company and project requirements.
Duties:
- Prepare, measure and set out formwork for concrete structures.
- Erect and dismantle formwork for foundations, walls, columns, beams, slabs and other concrete structures.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications.
- Measure, cut and shape timber and other materials to required specifications.
- Construct, install and maintain formwork systems to ensure accurate dimensions and quality finishes.
- Use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with general carpentry and civil construction duties as required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications, company procedures and WHS requirements.
What We Need From You
- Minimum 3 years' experience in carpentry/formwork.
- Proven experience in concrete formwork, including foundations, walls, columns, beams and slabs.
- Construction White Card.
- Possession of an Unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
- Own reliable transport.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
