Part of the Robert Plumb Collective, and newly merged with Captive Cabinetmaking, Cranbrook Workshop is in a growth phase with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects. Cranbrook Workshop specialises in custom joinery and cabinetry, balancing modern carpentry technologies with care and craft. We provide all types of joinery from simple solutions to more highly articulated interior designer led treatments.
This position is full-time and located in our workshop in Botany.
About the role
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a new team member who has a keen interest in starting their apprenticeship. As an apprentice joiner/cabinet maker you will be responsible for assisting our skilled team in the following:
- Crafting of individual solid timber products
- Construct and assemble components as specified
- Collaborate with team to produce the highest quality products
- Operation of workshop machinery
- Opportunity for 5Axis CNC machine training
- Maintain a safe and clean job site

- You are organised and have great attention to detail
- Woodworking or Cabinetry experience through school is highly regarded
