The Maternity Unit at St George Private features 6 modern birthing rooms, 23 private rooms and a Special Care Nursery. Our multidisciplinary team of experienced obstetricians, midwives, nursing staff, lactation consultants and allied health professionals’ work together to ensure a comfortable and confident experience – before, during and after pregnancy. Our maternity care also extends to an Early Parenting Centre and Perinatal Unit, with opportunities to work within these areas.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Midwife to join our Maternity Unit on a permanent full-time basis.
About You
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife

Minimum of 2 years' hospital experience
-
Previous experience in SCN/ NICU (highly regarded)

The ability to speak a language other than English will be advantageous, but not essential.

Team player attitude

Must have flexibility to work a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends
